Kathua, June 9 : To put a curb on social evils prevalent within the society, Police arrested three gamblers in Jarai of Kathua district besides seizing stake money amounting to Rs. 1100/- and playing cards from the gambling spot.
The accused have been identified as namely as Subash Chander s/o Palo Ram of W-13 Kathua, Naresh Kumar s/o Bishan Dass of CTM Kathua and Manjeet Singh s/o Tript Singh of Basantpur. Kathua "Acting in a specific information police conducted a raid at jarai area and arrested three Gamblers and recovered cash Rs. 1100/- alongwith playing cards," Police said. A case U/S 13A Gambling Act stand registered against the accused persons. |
