Personal Staff of High Court Judges to go on mass protest leave on June 11 6/9/2014 11:46:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 9 : The Members of the J&K High Court Personal Staff Association have decided to go on mass causal leave onJune 11, 2014 in protest against in-action on the part of High Court authorities in considering the genuine demands of the High Court staff regarding the amendment of 1968 rules governing the High Court staff service conditions; applicability of SRO 386/2008, to the person working in the category of Private Secretary; creating promotional avenues for the officers working in the capacity as Joint Registrars/secretaries/Bench Secretaries; career progression scheme as made applicable to the Juridical Officers; making promotions to the post of Senior Stenographer/Junior stenographer under in-service category; making provisions for 2 ½ days salary to the Jamadars/Drivers; regularization of adhoc/ daily wagers who have completed more than seven years of service including some other benefits regarding which number of representations are stated to be already pending before the concerned authority. According to the Vice-President Satinder Singh that the association was of the view that steps has been taken due to the fact that despite assurance from the concerned quarters in July, 2013, that the genuine demands would be considered in shortest possible time, nothing has been done in this regard.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
