Early Times Report KATHUA, June 10: Strongly condemning the alleged manhandling of a doctor by CRPF personnel at Hiranagar, the Doctors Union at District Hospital, Kathua demanded action against the erring cop. While addressing a press conference, the union spokespersons Superintendent Kathua District Hospital, Dr JP Singh, Dr Anil Gupta, Dr Mohinder and Dr Som Raj condemned the CRPF personnel for assaulting a Doctor JP Goswami without any reason last night at Hiranagar. They demanded an enquiry into the incident and immediate action against the CRPF personnel, who allegedly assaulted the doctor while he was on his way to Sub District Hospital, Hiranagar to attend night duty adding that incident happened after the doctor was intercepted at a naka where CRPF personnel misbehaved with him. They said that CRPF personnel had committed a serious offence by attacking a doctor, who produced so many evidences of being a doctor and going to attend night duty but in response the CRPF did not hear any of his pleas and assaulted him. |
