Surnakote/Poonch, June 10 : In continuation with series of meetings of all the employees working on contractual basic under different center sponsor schemes, daily wagers, consolidated, need basis, adhoc workers in different departments including PHE, Education, health, PDD, R&B, NYK, SBM etc of District Poonch was held at Dak Bungalow Surankote. The movement namely "Fight for Right" (F4R) met the second after its first meeting at Dak Bungalow Poonch earlier this month. President of the movement and RTI Activist Ayaz Mughal presided over the meeting and discussed the issues related to these employees.
While addressing all the members of the F4R movement Ayaz Mughal said that despite the fact about 80% of all the departments depend upon these contractual and daily wager employees, the government has closed its eyes and ears to the problems being faced by these employees.
"The entire system will get paralyzed if all the employees stop working at the same time and this will happen if all the demands of the employees will not be met out in months time", he said.
The participants put forward their demands and collectively said that they were ensured by the government they would be regularized after the completion of seven years which government has failed to fulfill its promise. |
