Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 15: Days after the veteran Congress leader Ghulam Rasool Kar castigated the policies of the state Congress after the recent debacle of the party during LS polls, the state Congress chief Saif-ud-din Soz and vice-president Ghulam Nabi Monga Sunday held a one hour closed door meet with the octogenarian. According to reports, Soz flanked by Monga visited the residence of Kar and held a detailed meet with the Congress veteran. The duo sought suggestions from the senior Congress leader who also was the member of the state's constituent assembly, about party's functioning in the state and also the steps for its strengthening. Sources told that in the very near future the meetings on district and block level activists shall be held and that Kar himself despite his ailing health will address the meetings. The state Congress chief Saif-ud-din Soz while confirming the meeting with Ghulam Rasool Kar stated that he visited the senior Congress leader just to inquire about his health and the meeting had no political agenda.
