LeT guide among two apprehended in Rajouri, Poonch

rajouri, June 15: An Alert has been sounded on the entire Line of Control (LoC) after the two IED blasts in which 6 soldiers were injured and one was killed and following the heavy shelling during truce violation by the Pakistan army on Friday.
During strict surveillance on the activities of the anti-national elements Indian soldiers have apprehended two PoK residents in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
60 years old Mohd Faryad Ali son of Rehman Dad resident of Kotli (PoK) , who was apprehended by the troopers of Rajput regiment in Jhangar (Nowshera ) in Rajouri district reportedly has informed the interrogators that he came to pay obeisance at a Ziarat situated near LoC on other side of the border and had entered the Indian soil inadvertently.
Rakesh Kumar, Additional SP , Nowshera while confirming the arrest of PoK national said that he has not been handed over to the police yet.
If handed over to police he will be booked under relevant sections under law. Another PoK national was apprehended by the troops of Rajasthan Rifles manning the border in Poonch district at about 7 pm on Saturday. Reliable sources said that according to available information 65 years old Ghulam Hussain s/o Mohd Alam resident of Naderi (Kotli) has informed the senior officers of the army that he had come near the Line of Control (LOC) to collect dry wood for their daily needs and had crossed the border inadvertently.
However, security forces is suspicious of his connection with the LeT outfit. Sources said that, security forces received information that the LeT outfit guide is active in the area and accordingly trap was laid. Meanwhile,he is being interrogated by the army intelligence agencies for his any link with the anti India forces. He was also in the custody of army officers at the time of filing this report.
