Kishtwar police conducts sanitation cum cleanliness drive 6/15/2014 11:48:08 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, June 15: As a part of celebration of "Rising Day", sanitation cum cleanliness drive of historic Chowgan Ground situated in the heart of Kishtwar town was conducted by District Police Kishtwar as a part of goodwill gesture and a social work. Contingents of CRFF 52Bn/IR5th Bn/SDRF participated in the drive. Municipal Committee Kishtwar and Kishtwar Development Authority also assisted by way of men and machinery. Various NGOs of Kishtwar actively supported this move of District Police Kishtwar. During three hour long drive, all the heaps and garbage lying on ground were lifted and disposed off. The aim and objective of drive was also to convey a message among common masses to keep this scenic and historic ground clean and beautiful. About 300 personnels were deployed on the job during the drive. The drive was launched by Additional SP Kishtwar Abdul Qayoom in presence of officers of District Police including Dy.
