WPRAC demands settlement at par with KPs | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, June 15: West Pakistani Refugees Action Committee (WPRAC) has demanded the Prime Minister Narender Modi to consider the demands of the refugees at par with settlement of Kashmiri Pandits of J&K. As per press release, president of the committee Laba Ram Gandhi in meeting held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park at Kathua said that refugees displaced before 1947 and since then they have been suffering and struggling for the permanent citizenship-right but all the Governments have been proved as mute spectators for us and left the problem unaddressed so far. He further said that after becoming the PM a new ray of hope has generated among the refugees for getting their long pending unaddressed issue solved. But after passing the 66 years perhaps Modi has also been come on the track of previous PMs. He further said that the Kashmiri Pundits are displaced just for the last 25 years and the Government has announced a great policy for their resettlement in Kashmir, but the refugees have been suffering for the last more than 66 years and no action and policy has been formed for the permanent solution of the refugees till date. |
