It was the 500th performance of the play which has been featured throughout the country. On the occasion, Natrang Director Padamshree Balwant Thakur complimented Lucky Gupta for bringing laurels for the State of J&K by taking the theatre of Jammu to the entire country and making it to record 500 solo shows. The play was a solo performance and had many dramatic elements in it so that it could hold the attention of the audience from the very beginning till the end. It was presented in intimate style and in unconventional setting which also was novelty to experience. The story of the play revolves around a boy who strives hard to get education and wants to be like Tagore despite his poverty. 'Maa Mujhe Tagore Bana Do" is a deep philosophical journey of a child whose craving for writing the poetry and to become Rabindra Nath Tagore is broken because of the circumstances. Lucky Gupta enacted the solo act very beautifully. Lights were designed by Neeraj Kant and operated by Varun Sharma. Mohd. Yaseen coordinated the show and the presentations were done by Sumeet Sharma |
