JAMMU, June 15: A Delegate session of Shiromni Akali Dal (Badal) Jammu held at Gurudwara Tahli Sahib Talab Tillo here today under the chairmanship of Sucha Singh JLangah I/C J&K Affairs (Ex-Minister), to discuss the plans to rejuvenate Shiromani Akali Dal and issues confronting Sikh community in Jammu and Kashmir. Senior leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal, workers and sympathizers of the party from Kathua, Samba, R S Pura , Udhampur, Akhnoor and all Sikh localities of Jammu district participated in the delegate session and expressed their suggestions and issues concerning Sikh community in Jammu and Kashmir. On behalf of Sikhs in Jammu and Kashmir certain resolutions, including Punjabi language, Minority status, refugees issue, problems of Sikh community in Kashmir and concern for false implicating Tarlochan Singh Wazir in various cases were presented to Sucha singh Langeh for redressing the same through Chief Minister of Punjab, Praksah Singh Badal. It was unanimously resolved to hold another session on July 20 for growth of the party in J&K and a five member advisory committee was nominated to assist the president and party for strengthening it at grass root level. |
