JKL Clerical Staff Association urges to remove 'pay anomalies' | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, June 16: Members of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association Jammu Province and Kashmir Province held a meeting today at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry Srinagar under the presidium of Mohd Sultan and Ravi Singh Bhau President Kashmir and Jammu Province in which the cadre discussed various issues and problems of government employees. After thoroughly discussion the meeting requests the committee constituted by the Chief Minister for the purpose to redress the just and genuine demands of the cadre of removal of pay anomaly in the meeting being held tomorrow. While addressing the meeting the members also requested the Chief Minister to intervene personally so that the anomalies/disparities in the pay structure of the clerical cadre (in the 5th Pay Commission) are removed by granting the pay scale of 4000-6000 to Jr. Asstts 4500-7000 to Sr Asstt. /Junior Statistical Assistant/Steno Typists and 5500-9000 to Head Assistants /Statistical Assistant/Jr Stenographers notionally w.e.f 01/01/1996 and monetary w.e.f. 19/02/2003 as the Convener Pay Anomaly Committee (Commissioner Secretary Finance, J&K Government has already submitted its report to the Government but there is a great resentment in the clerical cadre The representatives of the association also held a meeting in the office chamber of Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Association president Rouf Ahmed Bhat and apprised him the problems being faced by the clerical cadre. The president of Secretariat Union assured the delegation of clerical cadre that organization will fight till the demand of removal of Pay Anomaly is conceded to. Farhat Ahmed General Secretary, Manohar Singh, M.A.Malik, Vishav Bandhu, Avtar Krishan, Gulam Sabar, Gh Nabi Wangoo, Nazir Ahmed Khan, Mool Raj, Surinder Mehta, Gurjeet Singh also were present in the meeting. |
