| World Population day observed in Kargil | | | Early Times Report
Shotopa, Kargil, July 11: "The gross root workers which includes, ASHA's, Angarwari workers and other field workers of the health department should come forward to check the Family planning scheme and should try their best effort to implement this scheme properly which will help in the population control", said by Executive Councilor for Rural Development and Health LAHDC Kargil Haji Mohammad Shafi during an awareness programme on World Population Day.
He was the Chief Guest on this occasion and the programme was organized by District Health Department at Auditorium Hall Kargil.
Haji Shafi told that parents should always focus on educating their wards so that they can focus on their future and family planning helps the parents to focus on their wards properly.
The Chief Guest assured that to uplift the girl students and to secure their career LAHDC Kargil will soon come with a Girl Hostel in Kargil.
Earlier the Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Shabir Hussain, Gynecologist Dr Zohra and other doctors and speakers threw light on the dangers due to population rise and stressed on the need to adopt various Family planning methods to control population explosion.
During the Camp various Stalls were installed to demonstrate various family planning activities.
