Locals allege NBCC forcing general public to face inconvenience 7/12/2014 12:24:59 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 11: Prominent citizens and residents of Ward -11, in old city held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sanjay Mahey, former corporator of the ward wherein members expressed their concern over the dilapidated condition of various streets/lanes where NBCC has played a havoc and the general public have been put into inconvenience. During the meeting Sanjay Mahey, former Corporator of the ward expressed serious concerns over the dilapidated condition of various streets/lanes including Lakhdata bazaar, Gali Hanuman, Dal-Wali Gali where NBCC has dug out and general public have been put into inconvenience. Members also demanded disiltation of drains and steps to check menace of stray dogs in the area. Speaking on occasion Sanjay Mahey informed that the estimates for the repairs & up-gradation of lanes stand prepared and the same have been submitted to the department besides Commissioner, JMC, had assured that he will visit the concerned areas and issue the orders accordingly.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
