BJP (Migrant Cell) resubmits KPs demands to Commissioner Relief | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 11: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Kashmir (Displaced) today through a communiqué to the office of Commissioner Relief and Rehabilitation canal Road Jammu reminded authorities at the helms of affairs about the demands of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community highlighted in a memorandum submitted on May 29 this year. According to a party spokesperson, a delegation headed by senior BJP leader and national Co- convener BJP J&K Cell Adv Chander Mohan Sharma submitted a reminder of memorandum to Commissioner Relief and Rehabilitation in which the members highlighted various demands of victims of militancy and affected migrants and sought their redressal. The memorandum highlighted biggest worry of a poor migrant is enhancement untimely disbursement of cash relief and delivery of ration, at least these should have been provided in time, regular water and power supply at Jagti township, Memorandum also included the the demand regarding medical facility at Jagti camp, removal of discrepancies in M-Form and voter lists. Delegates also brought the attention of concerned authority towards the cause of concern for poor and needy migrants by initiating a employment package. They also sought needful in allotment of quarters which should have been given according to quantum of suffering faced by a migrant at the hands of militants. Besides Chander Mohan Sharma among others who were the part of delegation included Balkrishen Koul, T N Bhat, C L Pandita, Roshan Lal, Mohan Ji Sopore. |
