JAMMU, July 13: Through his all round performance in the final, Satish today helped Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) take home the title trophy in Titu Memorial Twenty20 Tournament at Model School ground, Satwari, here.
In the title clash, RCC defeated host Azad Cricket Club (ACC) by a margin of 39 runs. Earlier, batting first, RCC set a challenging target of 180 runs for six wickets, which, in reply, Azad Club could not chase and exhausted their quota of overs for 140 runs losing nine wickets.
Satish remained top scorer with 67 runs while Ishan and Aman contributed 38 and 26 runs respectively. From Azad Club, Pradeep Bali and Vishal took two wickets each. Raman Dutta and Jatin shared apiece each.
Later, Azad Club made a slow beginning and kept on losing wickets on regular intervals to conclude their innings at 140 runs. Surinder played fine innings of 26 runs coming off 16 deliveries. He hit four boundaries in a single over but it was too late to recover because the quick fire knock came too late in the 18th over with just two wickets remaining.
