Stephens School organizes Plantation Drive Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Stephens School organized a campaign to make the tiny tots aware of the Mother Nature and its preservation and observed a Plantation Drive Day in school premises. According to school spokesperson, the tiny Stephians were made aware of the nature and surroundings of the human besides generating awareness about the biodiversity and ecology underlining significance of each and every plant. The teachers spoke on the various subjects regarding the preservation of environment and role of individuals to make the planet earth a better place to live in. The little Stephians pledged to do their contribution enthusiastically and devotedly to save mother Earth. During the activity they were made conscious about in the 4 R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. The children according to their age are doing the appropriate activities to serve a common cause and many planted saplings in the various places in the school as well as the other areas around it. During the Plantation Drive Day, the Director Satvinder Saini, Principal BN Sarkar and Vice-Principal Rama Jamwal appreciated the role of tiny tots. |
