JAMMU, July 23: Border Security Force (BSF) troops during routine patrol along International Border here in Pargwal Sector today recovered approximately one Kilogram of 'Heroin', having a face value of crores of rupees in the International market.
Sources said that the catch was made by BSF troops manning the forward areas in Pargwal of Akhnoor in Jammu region.
As per reports, BSF during patrolling along border recovered a bag containing some narcotics, purportedly heroin, along the border. "The seized consignment was later handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Jammu for its authenticity, sources said.
Meanwhile, SDPO Akhnoor Farooq Qaiser when contacted confirmed the reports, adding, BSF has not handed over the seized consignment to the police. |
