Court denies bail to two murder accused 7/24/2014 12:10:39 AM Jammu, July 23 : Principal Sessions Judge Jammu RS Jain today rejected the bail application of Bhagwan Singh and Daljeet Singh who are facing trial in murder case. Principal Sessions Judge Jammu RS Jain after hearing both the sides observed that P/P has averred that accused are involved in heinous offence of murder and that the prosecution is yet to produce evidence to connect the accused to the commission of offence with which they have been charged. "In case the accused are enlarged on bail, they will jump bail and tamper with the prosecution, court observed and opinioned that no good ground is made out for granting bail to the petitioners namely Bhagwan Singh and Daljeet Singh and rejected the same. According to police case that on 28/2/2012, accused in pursuance of a criminal conspiracy compelled the deceased Shanker Singh to board their truck (JK-2AN/3054) which was destined to go to Poonch. On the way, the accused and deceased consumed liquor and then some altercation took place between them. "The petitioner when reached near Akhnoor bridge, started beating the deceased though the deceased jumped out of the truck yet accused with rod beat him as a result of which the deceased fell down and his dead body was thrown into the river Chenab," case file said.(JNF)   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
