KC Gurukul conducts English poetry recitation competition 7/24/2014 11:08:22 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 24: KC Gurukul Public School Paloura Jammu today conducted English poetry recitation competition. The students from classes 1st to 5th participated in the competition. From class 1st A, Yashita Thakur, Shiny and SaanviBhat stood first, second and third respectively. A lady-finger drawing and painting was organized for Nursery, LKG and UKG kids where they used lady-fingers to create different drawings. Tree plantation activity was conducted by the students of class 1stin which they planted the saplings of different trees in the school premises. This activity was done to create the awareness among the children to save the environment. Chairman Arvind Mahajan and Academic Director Vijay Puri appreciated the diligent efforts of the children. Head Mistress Mamta Singh encouraged the students to participate in these kinds of stimulating activities.
