1 yr imprisonment awarded in negligent driving case 7/24/2014 11:46:22 PM Jammu, July 24 : Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Reasi Sunit Gupta today awarded one yrs imprisonment and fine Rs 2000 to Manjeet Singh a mini bus driver who was facing trial for the last six years for causing death of one Jamat Ali due to rash and negligent driving. After hearing CPO DP Singh for the state, CJM Reasi Sunit Gupta observed that from the evidence on record it is established that the accused grossly negligent in driving the vehicle and held that prosecution has succeded in the case and awarded one imprisonment and fine Rs 2000 to Manjeet Singh a mini bus driver.(JNF)   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
