Srinagar, July 25: J&K Bank dedicated an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) to general public in Lal Nagar locality of Channapora, Srinagar. With this ATM counter, the strength of the ATM network of the bank has gone up to 827 across the country and in Kashmir province, the bank has a network of 458 ATMs. The machine was inaugurated by the Bank's Zonal Head, Kashmir Central, Abdul Rashid Shegun, in a simple function which was attended by a large number of residents of the locality and bank officials. Speaking on the occasion, the zonal head, Abdul Rashid Shegun, briefed out various customer friendly initiative undertaken by the bank. "We are leveraging technology to extend world class banking facilities to the customers at their doorstep. Expanding the network of ATM is one such initiative, which will be further thickened," said the zonal head. |
