Old animosities buried, Cong-PDP political bonhomie on cards
BJP's 44+ likely to be an interesting fixture to watch

Jammu, July 25: While the opinionated maneuvering on the state's political diasporas have many connotations attached for the upcoming governance led by any party or a combo, yet the currents underlining the scene have many surprises likely to spring up as the process comes to close in Nov-Dec.
Riding the Modi wave after its collateral effect on the national panorama where the BJP hit the bulls eye romping home with a whopping 280+, state cadre toying the idea of 44+ is being gauged through the clinical prism of a political scientist's eye as a mere joke, leave aside the hype and hoopla generated by the party itself .
The reasons are manifold from local issues of the people on ground and their un-satiated aspirations so far, besides the factors ranging from bringing home cross voting offenders back in the fold and welcoming Congress deserter Lal Singh sending anxious churns to the bigwigs.
Behind the veil is being seen an emergence of a front that, despite its sour political connectivity in 2008, is turning sweet with one of the party (People’s Democratic Party) heavy weight and former Finance Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beigh confirming his party's reconciliation with Congress burying the past differences.
"Yes, the PDP would definitely love to tie up with Congress as it is the only national party with a credible sustenance to represent the political dispensation of the state," said Muzaffar Hussain Beigh while talking to Early Times .
He dismissed the early notions of 2008 misgivings that created the split in the coalition adding that both the parties have learnt from the past mistakes and the upcoming time suggests that a coordinated effort should be made to give state a credible dispensation that respects the ethical, regional and religious aspiration of all the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
"Politics is only about learning from the past experiences and both PDP and Congress have come out that cocoons and would jointly dwell into a process for forging a better alliance in the Government," said Muzaffar Hussain Beigh.
Beigh treaded a step further in saying that despite winning a majority number in claiming to form the Government, PDP would take Congress into the stride for Government formation.
" I would reconnect with Congress despite PDP's majority and form alliance to make the Government," he emphasized .
Given such statistics, this has apparently come up as a strong rationale to admit that since PDP is all set to give a tough fight to NC in valley with latter already being in miniscule strength in Jammu and Congress with its CM candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad returning to home land adding the thrust to the bewildered up-reaches belt of Jammu region, other parties' including BJP's time to introspect their bearings here.
