NC-Cong will be wiped out in Assembly polls, say people on Rafiqs appointment as PDP president 7/26/2014 12:33:10 AM Early Times Report Poonch, July 25: There were celebrations at the PDP office in Mendhar town here after people come to know that local MLA and former minister Rafiq Hussain Khan has been appointed as party vice president . The elated pdp supporters, who shouted slogans in favor of the Mendhar MLA said with his appointment as PDP Vice president NC and Congress would be totally swiped out from the political map of the state. PDP is going to be strengthened in the state with Khan getting vice president post in PDP. Kahn who was born at Herni Mendhar in 1942 is a law graduate from Aligarh Mulsim Univeristy, he joined politics in 1973. Though he joined NC in 1975, he was elected MLA from the area as Indepenedent candidate in 1977. He has also served as Janta Dal state vice president.
