KPs smell rat in recent incidents of violence across valley 7/27/2014 11:00:02 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 27: Kashmiri Pandits have termed the events from July 13 Mattan episode to July 25 Tulmulla violence as part of a bigger conspiracy of anti national forces working within valley to destabilize peace and sabotage efforts towards return of KPs back to the valley and resumption of their traditional religious pilgrimages. Taking serious exception to July 25 episode at Tulmulla which was preceded by mob violence at Baltal on July 18 and July 13 incidents at holy shrine of Mattan in South Kashmir district of Anantnag, Kashmiri Pandits today said that some forces having patronage of Pakistan and Jehadi elements and are hell bent to create 1989-90 type situation in Kashmir and thwart peace process. Various KP organisations while showing their concern over the happenings in valley have urged the Government to ensure safety and security of Hindu religions places in valley and taken drastic action against those who are trying to communalize the situation for their vested interests. Kashmir Samiti Delhi (KSD) President Vijay Raina while expressing his concern over the happenings in valley and episodes of Mattan, Baltal and Tulmulla said it is a part of a game plan hatched by separatists and Pakistan to stall the return of KPs to valley. He said Pandits are aborigines of Kashmir with over 5000 year old history , no one can deny them their right to return and settle at their choice place in Kashmir. He said Hindu shrines have a historical and cultural background and history of Kashmir is incomplete without making a mention of these sacred places and the forces who are raising objections of hindu Yatras to these shrines should study the history first. Terming the happening in Kashmir unfortunate KPC President Kundan Kashmiri said Kashmiri Muslim should show maturity and not get misled by rumors as this way the saboteurs while trying to harm the interests of all Kashmiris for their vested interests.
