JAMMU, July 27 : Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports. Raman Bhalla said that Government is fully aware of hardships of weaker sections of the society and is making all out efforts to mitigate on priority basis. This was stated by the Minister while addressing public grievances redressal camp held at Nai Basti W D No. 23, Nanak Nagar W. No. 43 and Paroli Mohalla in Channi Himmat, here today. Officers of PHE, PDD, R&B, UEED, ERA and JMC were present on the occasion. Bhalla hoped that people will cooperate with executing agencies in effective implementation of development works in their basties. He called upon the people that their development related issues would be redressed in a phased manner, adding that focus of the Government is to develop all the poor basties on modern lines by providing safe drinking water, power, better roads, bye-lanes, drains, besides educational and healthcare infrastructure. The Minister asked the executing agency to complete all the projects within stipulated time frame for the benefit of general masses, adding that 'it is the duty of coalition Government to fulfil the aspirations of the people across the State'. The Minister further said that RAY is to be implemented in a mission mode and will provide financial support through J&K Housing Board for providing housing and improvement of basic civic infrastructure and social amenities. |
