JKBWA condoles demise of Colonel Kaith | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association at meeting held here today expressed its deep shock and grief over demise of its Chief Advisor Lt Col (retd) Manohar Lal Kaith. Colonel Kaith passed away at his residence in Village Chohala after a prolonged illness. He was 75 is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. Association President Sat Pal Lakhotra recalled the meritorious services rendered by Colonel Kaith in the Indian Army during his tenure of 35 years. Lakhotra said Colonel was a disciplined member of the Association who always worked relentlessly to strengthen the Association for the welfare of the community members. "Colonel always gave valuable advice to the Association in its important matters. Besides, he had been contributing tirelessly in all aspects of voluntary service whether it was practical assistance to others or community activities or raising funds for charity. He will remain in the hearts and minds of thousands of community people", said the Association General Secretary R.L. Kaith. Association prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and courage of the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude. |
