GGF's leadership training programme concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 28: Gandhi Global Family concluded three days leadership training programme at International Youth Hostel, New Delhi, which was inaugurated on July 25 by IYH President Harish Saxena. The students have been interacting with a wide spectrum of leaders on various issues such as Youth as bridge to Community Services; Youth as an agent of Communal Harmony; Youth and drug-free life style; Youth, Diversity & Nation Building; and Youth & Sports. Students actively participated in various debated and discussions, which was framed jointly by GGF and IYH. "All students have gained an appreciation of how to multifaceted the world and how many opportunities exist in it for them," said Saxena. While addressing the youth, Janak Raj Gupta, former MP, urged them to participate in nation building process, so that we can come up with a strong India. S N Sharma, GGF National Advisor stressed that a Strong INDIA cannot be developed at the cost of communal harmony and cultural & linguistic diversity. Padmashri S P Varma, Vice President Gandhi Global Family encouraged youth to participate in community development services and also to engage in communal harmony activities. He emphasized that the role of the leader is to empower others, not to infuse communal hatred seeds among public. India is very diverse and we cherish diversity and every citizen should feel proud of our religious and cultural pluralism. |
