Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, July 28: Like several times in the past, separatist factions in Kashmir may use Eid to trigger new cycle violence that might make difficult for the common people across the valley.
Pro Pakistan separatist leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who is known to foment trouble using such occasions today asked people for 30 minutes protest demonstration after the Eid prayers against the Israeli terrorism in Gaza and said that 'Muslims are passing through most difficult phase and all the imperialistic powers of the world have got activated against them.
To instigate people, Geelani narrated examples of Gaza and Burma and he also tried to rake up emotions of people by launching malicious campaign.
Wishing people of Kashmir on the eve of Eid,Geelani said "when we celebrate Eid with our families, we should not forget the infants and women of Gaza who are being killed by Israel and added that 'we should also not forget the hopeless parents, widows and children of those who were killed in Jammu & Kashmir or who are in jails or who were subjected to the custodial disappearance."
While lashing on Omar Abdullah led government, Syed Ali Geelani said that 'Omar Abdullah government has although placed him under house detention from last four years but neither am I ignorant about the sufferings of my nation, nor am I unaware about the cunning policies of new government of India regarding Kashmir.'
Geelani alleged that new government at Centre has also started implementing RSS agenda in Kashmir Valley.
He further alleged that NDA government has started the process of converting the Muslim majority of the state into the minority. He added that 'this situation demands that Muslims of the world should rise above the group and sect differences for the unity and they should formulate a joint strategy for their protection.'
Pertinently in the past, Separatist factions have many a times used Eid to trigger violence after spewing venom against the country.
As on Eid day people assemble in thousands to offer Eid Prayers in Jamia Masjids and separatist leaders grabbing opportunities on such occasions ask people to hold protest demonstration which within no time turns violent.
