Aspirants in great confusion, smell conspiracy to adjust blue eyed | Lack of coordination between Government agencies | | Business As usual K Koushal Jammu, July 29: Hundreds of aspirants appearing for common screening test for the post of Junior Engineers are in a tizzy due to clash of screening test dates with written test for the post of Bank PO and Clerical Assistants in Indian Overseas Bank under Udaan Project. Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) have scheduled screening test for the post of Junior Engineers (JEs) in Mechanical, Civil and Electrical is going to be held on August 3 at 10:30 am however, written test for the post of Bank POs and Clerical Assistants under Udaan project is also scheduled to be held on August 23 in morning shift, thus putting the aspirants, who had applied for both the posts, in great confusion. Irony is that both the recruitment is being done by Government agencies and lack of coordination between the Government agencies is clearly seen from this owing to which aspirants are in great confusion. SSRB advertise these posts in the year 2014 and now aspirants are forced to appear in only one exam. One of the aspirants wishing anonymity said, "we had also put the matter to the notice of administrative officer of SSRB in written who assured us to fax the written application to the chairman of the Board but till date no notification has been issued by the board and our career has been put on stake". Another aspiration while talking to Early Times rued that it is conspiracy to adjust some blue eyed candidates. "If SSRB only change the timing of the test from morning shift to evening shift the matter can be resolved", said aspirant adding that repeated attempts to contact Chairman Service Selection Recruitment Board, Shagufta Parveen remain futile. |
