Baba Swarnjit appeals Sikhs to stay united | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 29: Expressing his deep concern over the prevailing situation in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Sant Baba Swarnjit Singh of Tapasthan Gurudwara Manji Sahib Una (Himachal Pradesh) appealed the Sikh community in India and abroad to stay united. Addressing a press conference here today, Baba said violence in Saharanpur is nothing but total failure of state government led by Akhilesh Yadav to protect the minority community. He said it's really sad state of affairs in any nation where the minority is not taken care of and does not feel safe. Baba said this spreads not only wrong message among different states but also brings bad name to the nation. Baba said riots can never be solution to any problem rather many precious lives are lost and properties are destroyed and business is affected adding that just for the sake of vote bank and vested self interest such incidents are flared. It's the poor common man who is at greatest loss. Baba appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into every sensitive issue personally so that the faith with which people of India has chosen him persists and everyone lives without fear under his governance. |
