Panasonic launches globally acclaimed smartphone "Eluga" across India | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 30: A combination of both the progressive technological innovation and Japanese heritage, Panasonic introduced its world renowned smartphone series "Eluga" across India. According to company spokesperson stated equipped with superior hardware components, the Eluga smartphone series is known for its design, superior build quality& unique user interface for single hand operation. "Eluga U is Panasonic's first device of the series and has a 12.7cm (5) IPS HD (720x1280) display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 integrated as an On-Glass solution, statement stated buoyantly claiming, "it comes with AndroidTM 4.4.2 (Kitkat) runningon the powerful and power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon400processor featuring quad-core CPU, Qualcomm Adreno GPU and low power display engine for beautiful visuals, and support for 2GB RAM & 16GB in-built storage." It also added Eluga smartphone sporting a 13MP FHD capable autofocus camera along with 2500 mAh battery will be made available to Indian consumers from tomorrow at an introductory price of Rs.18,990/-. Expressing his pleasure on the launch, Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said "The launch of Eluga U redefines Panasonic India's efforts in continuing to constantly innovate for its customers." With the launch of this device, the company brings its Japanese heritage to India and continues usage of its global R&D resources. The smartphone sports the single hand operative "Fit Home" user interface specifically redesigned for ELUGA series on Kitkat. 'Fit Home is known for its unique single hand operative features such as "Kwik Lock", where the user can double tap the home screen to lock, he added.
