Private ration dealers hold protest against CAPD Deptt | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, July 30: Private Ration Dealers Association Samba on Wednesday held a strong protest against the state government for failure to release their 32 months pending commission. The ration dealers held a protest under the banner of SRDA assembled outside CAPD office Samba, and raised a slogans to against the state government .They alleged that government has nothing to release their pending commission of the last 32 months. They said last month the ration dealers had held a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner office in Nandni hills Samba. After protest the District Administration assured the ration dealers to early redressal of their demands but nothing has been done till date. Protesters alleged that Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department is deliberately not releasing their 32 months pending commission of ration distribution. They demanded that the government should take action in this regard. They also alleged that the ration supplied to them is underweight. President, of Samba ration dealers association (SRDA) Raj Singh alleged that the ration dealers are managing the ration distribution system at their own and they are facing economic crisis due to non availability of commission to dealers from last 32 months. |
