Bandari demands immediate resumption of Rattle HEP project

Jammu, July 31: Senior Congress leader and Member Kissan Board Shamsher Singh Bandari has demanded immediate resumption of work at 850 MW Rattle HEP Kishtwar which is lying suspended for one month due to deadlock between the company and various stake holders over the adjustment of local unemployed youths in the project.While addressing a meeting, Bandari urged congress high command to take serious note of the issue to resolve it at the earliest. He said due to continuous deadlock the employees working in the project are facing difficult time and their future is at dark.
He requested the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar that matter should be solved amicably with GVK Authorities.
Those who were present in the meeting included Farooq Ahmed Tappal and Tilak Raj Shan.
