Local MLA fails to get 'Bini Bridge' construction a 'reality' | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 31: Alleging local MLA failed to meet their expectation and aspirations, locals from Billawer of Kathua demanded early construction of "Bini Bridge" and also warned the state government to face the dire consequences if their demand is ignored. While registering their protest and anguish against the state Government and local MLA who is at present minister of State Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, the residents of Billawar area including Sarpanch Panchayat Pallan Akhtar Ali, Sarpanch Panchayat Dadwada Advocate Jatinder Singh Badwal and Mohinder Pal alleged that "Bini Bridge is the life line of Billawar area and is of 'strategic' significance for defence affairs as an alternative route to Dhar Road. "ironically, this bridge due to its deplorable condition it had been declared as 'unsafe' almost ten years ago, they said and alleged, "high level of insensitivity and irresponsibility from concerned MLA including State Government, the bridge of stretgic importance is still left unattended causing high risks to locals." Alleging Dr Manohar Lal Sharma who is minister of state at present utterly has failed to make the dream to reality. The locals said he has proved to be leader who lacks required zeal and honest intention towards the development and welfare of his own people. |
