During NC rule a few Families have prospered’ 8/10/2014 11:28:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 10 : Provincial President J&K National Conference Jammu Province Devender Singh Rana while taking strong note of JKPCC president, Saif-ud-Din Soz's statement said the two parties have been in coalition for the past six years and must, therefore, accept responsibility of successes and failures jointly. Rana also said that the Congress has been in government for the past twelve years and the NC just five. "So Congress should be more responsible for the mess in the state finds itself ." Yes, the Congress has been in the government for the past twelve years but NC has enjoyed power for decades together. During the time the NC stayed in power, Jammu Kashmir has witnessed a few families besides Sheikh Family prosper in the state. Even Auqaf money was loaned to the families close to the sheikh Family to help them while the commoner struggle for a loave of bread. He was exiled, imprisoned, humiliated and tortured and deprived of the basic amenities of life. Rana said governments work in continuity and while the National Conference has been the part of the government from last six years the Congress has been the part of the governance structure from the last twelve years and so is more accountable and more answerable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
