Janamashtami celebrated at RM Public School 8/19/2014 10:31:51 PM JAMMU, Aug 19: RM Public School celebrated Janamashtami with religious gaiety and enthusiasm. According to press release, the welcome note was read by Nancy Bhat. Chairman Rameshwar Mengi and Trustee Reeta Mengi were the chief guests on this occasion. Little kids were dressed in colorful costumes depicting roles of Krishna and his beloved Radha. "Rasleela" was the highlight of this function. The students performed number of dances in the Krishana's and Radha's getup. Principal Ravinder Kaur, Vice Principal Shashi Jamwal along with Principal RM College of Education PK Dhar lauded the efforts of the students and the staff members on the occasion and greeted the students. Administrator Meenakshi Sharma was also present in the occasion. Later the Parshad was distributed among the students. Programme was ended with vote of thanks by Nisha Bhandral. NHPC Limited Jammu celebrates Independence Day JAMMU, Aug 19: Independence Day was celebrated by NHPC at its Regional Office, Jammu. A large number of employees and CISF personnel participated. On this occasion, Sh. Om Prakash, Executive Director hoisted the tricolor. Speaking on the occasion, Om Prakash recalled the martyrs of freedom and advised the employees to work hard with dedication for progress and prosperity of the Nation. Speaking about NHPC, Executive Director said that recently NHPC Limited has successfully commissioned 240 MW Uri-II, 45 MW Nimoo Bazgo and 44 MW Chutak Power Stations which were dedicated to the Nation by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. He said that NHPC is committed to complete the 330 MW Kishanganga HE Project on schedule. He further said that still we have many miles to go and many targets to achieve and he hoped that in the coming years NHPC shall add more generation by commissioning under construction projects in the country. He praised Engineers and workers for their dedication and hard work.
