JPSETTIA criticizes Govt for miserable condition of Primary Schools | | | Jammu, Aug 20: Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has criticized Congress leaders and its ministers holding the education department, which has failed to provide basic facilities in primary schools. According to press release, President of Association Deep Singh said, "Today exposure of lacking basic facilities in many Jammu primary schools must be seen as blot on the face of Congress leadership and its ministers holding the department since last twelve years as in Jammu district alone 156 schools san drinking water facilities, 205 running from single rooms &57 from rented accommodations. "It is of course sufficient to measure the hollow claims of development by the coalition partners", he added. "As per day to day media reports, the school education department of state have been emerged as money minting transfer industry for the concerned ministry and its administrative set up and in that case who bothers for the needed growth of the system", Association observed. He further said that the issuance of SROs was a routine practice of state rulers but for implementation in private sector only just to promote the vested interests. "State government officers of school education department & J&K board of school education boldly admit about the non implementation of SRO-123 in government schools, it added again. No body within the government or the so-called civil society is ready to question the corrupt and casual approach of the persons at the helm of affairs", Association observed. Ongoing silent spectator role of union HRD minister of BJP is also demoralizing for the stakeholders, Association observed. All hopes of "Achay Din" in education sector are now towards Modi led union government of country, it added. People at large are keen to observe the expected blue print of the union government, it concluded. |
