Apsra Road traders protest against PDD, observe shutdown 8/20/2014 11:30:15 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 20: Frustrated with frequent power cuts, the business community today of Apsra Road, Gandhi nagar took to the streets against the State Power Development Department (PDD) under the leadership of senior BJP leader Indu Bhushan Sharma and Association President AshwaniKhullar. The protest was taken out against no electricity from the past three days. All the ahopkeepers closed down their showrooms and staged protest demonstration at Apsra Road, Gole Market Gandhi Nagar. Addressing the protesters, InduBhushan Sharma threatened to call for indefinite shutdown of market and total road blockage in case the state power department not upgraded the transformer soon at Apsra Road.
