Army keep tight vigil along LoC 8/20/2014 11:43:32 PM Rajouri, Aug 20: In the backdrop of turmoil in Pakistan, the situation on the Line of Control (LoC) has become tense and Indian troops have been keeping tight vigil on the activities of Pakistan army. For the last many days Pakistan army has been pounding continuously many forward areas in on International Border and Line of Control (LoC) specially in Hamirpur, Tarkundi and Poonch sectors. Lt Gen K.H Singh, GOC White Knight Corps while interacting with the reporters on the side lines of an inauguration of ZilaSainikBhavan building at Rajouri said that Indian army is fully prepared to meet any challenge on the Line of Control (LoC). When asked by The Early Times about the prevailing tension in Pakistan and its impact on the borders following political instability, he said, " In South of Peer Panjal (LoC) whatever challenges are there, we have adequate resources and will to control the situation in such a manner that any inimical element are not able to do any mischief ".   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
