Police launches hunt to trace 'missing' student

Rajouri, Aug 20: Police today have launched massive manhunt to trace a 7th class student hailing from Targain Rajouri who went missing after his tuition classes at village Samote falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Budhal.
According to Mohd Zameer father of missing boy, his son had left the village for Samote on August 17 at about 10:00 am to attend his tuition classes and to help his brother Mohd Tariq running a shop at Samote. Quoting some shopkeepers of the market, Police sources said, " as per their statements after Tariq's departure, Safarat closed the shop at about 2pm and left to join his sister who also came to Samote along with Safarat. "However the sister of the missing boy too couldn't find Safarat where he had asked her to wait for, sources said adding that it was she who informed family members about 'boy's missing'.
"Meantime when Safarat didn't turn up till late in the evening family members started searching for him and inquired from the relatives and his friends, sources said and added, "after two day's search Safarat was not traced than his father lodged missing report with the concerned police.
Inspector Chaman Gorkha, SHO Bhudhal said that Mohd Zameer father of Safarat Ali along with family members approached the police and informed about the missing of his son. "Immediately after the missing report lodged massage along with the photograph of the boy has been flashed to Police control room (PCR) at Jammu and to other police stations" said SHO Bhudhal. He however added that till today the boy remain untraced but massive man hunt is on.
