JAMMU, Aug 21: The two-day annual inter-school under-19 boys and girls competitions of district Reasi got underway at Zorawar Sports Stadium, Reasi in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Wrestling and Judo. The event is organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
Preliminary round of matches took place on the opening day today. Earlier, the competition declared open by Deputy Director, DYSS, Kanchan Bala. The CDPEO Reasi, Dr Pritam Lal was guest of honour. Prominent among others present were Principal Government Boys HSS School Reasi, Madan Mohan Khajuria, Principal Girls HSS Reasi, PD Sharma, Headmaster, HS Kambal Danga, Romail Singh and Jaswant Singh.
The competition is being held under the overall supervision of district officer, Dr SS Chib.
