Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 21: Various stake holders in tourism and pilgrimage of Bhaderwah have hailed the Divisional commissioner, Shant Manu and all other officials and non officials for performing Kailash Yatra pilgrimage on Tuesday, August 19.
In a joint statement issued at Bhaderwah, Ravi Mahajan Chairman Jammu Partyan Vikas Mandal, Tariq Choudhary President Travel Trade Association of Bhaderwah and others said that the visit of Jammu Divisional Commissioner, along with battery of government officers in Doda district will carry a very healthy message towards promotion of Kailash Yatra, demonstrating seriousness on the part of the administration to promote this historical annual Yatra in Bhaderwah.
The Yatra was performed by all of them via Chattargala route which is linked by motor able road with Bhaderwah town from where the foot track is only 6 kms and Yatra can be performed in a single day. The signatories to the statement demanded encouragement to the devotees to perform Yatra via this rout, which is much shorter than the traditional route via Seoldhar.
