Jammu, Aug 22: The country's first and largest Telecom Services BSNL is fast losing credibility among its customers. The company which has presence in every nook and corner of the country including Jammu Kashmir was once the peoples' first choice.
According to reports, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is nowadays fast losing around 10 to 15 customers daily for excessive billing and erratic service. SunitaKumari, a housewife said that the company is not reliable now and it has given me restless nights. "I have landline and mobile connection of this company, but right from day one it has given me lot of mental tension. Landline number is hardly in use but we receive fat bills. When I tried to contact the customer care, they simply say, the computer shows that you have used this phone. I have no internet connection. Now I am thinking of surrendering both mobile and landline connections."
Dalbir Singh, a university scholar said that the staff is not cooperative and the service they provide is very poor. "Their claims about speed of 3G and 2 G are a farce. I am now shifted to other service provider which is cheaper provides better services," he said.
Other private companies said an engineer is giving them tough competition in our state and people are fast changing their services to private Telecom companies. All attempts to contact BSNL GM went in vain. |
