Kishtwar, Aug 23: Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited, donated 1000 notebooks for inmates of Bal Ashram, Kuleed, Kishtwar, being run by District Social Welfare Department under Corporate Social Responsibility-Sustainable Development Scheme of NHPC Limited.
The material was handed over during a simple function which was presided over by Arvind Bhat, General Manager, Dulhasti in the presence of Bipin Gupta, Chief Engineer and SK Parihar, Sr. Manager (Law), NHPC, Kaiser Bhawani, Distt. Social welfare Officer, Kishtwar, Officers of NHPC/ Distt. Social welfare Deptt. and inmates of Bal Ashram, Kishtwar. Pertinent to mention that the inmates of Bal Ashram, Kuleed, Kishtwar include orphans, destitutes & Militancy victims.Speaking on the occasion, Bhat advised the inmates of Bal Ashram to devote whole heartedly to their studies which is going to pay them in the long run. |
