Bhagat resigns from post of Secretary JKPCC, member SC Advisory Board | | | Jammu, Aug 23: Karan Bhagat Secretary Jammu Kashmir Pradesh congress Committee today resined from the post of Secretary JKPCC and Member SC Advisory Board. According to press release, the Bhagat said that past six years he was working for congress party and it was a great matter of pride for him. "For some time I have been finding it difficult to reconcile either with the current functioning of the party, or the direction in which it is going", he said, adding that he is no longer have the feeling that the was the same idealistic party created by Indra Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. "Most leaders of ours are now concerned just with their personal agendas and the selection of candidates and party functionaries are on the basis of 'ji hajuri' and the result of this function is clearly visible to all the citizen of J and K", he said. "Karan Bhagat had fought last assembly election as a independent candidate and got 6000 votes and now after six years he and his workers are more strengthen in R S Pura as well as in Suchetgarh and Bishnah and the same time if Karan Bhagat will leave the party the congress will find difficult to survive in this condition from all three seats", the press note read. |
