Lesson still unlearnt | Rana’s anguish has 45 buyers only | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 23: Provincial President National Conference, Devender Singh Rana on Saturday expressed anguish over continued shelling from across the border and loss of life and property in the forward areas of the Jammu region and sought resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan to bring an end to border skirmishes. The secretary level dialogue between India and Pakistan was called off by the government of India for national interest. A person who manages just 45 persons in his election rally should refrain from indulging in issues of national importance. He better concentrate on the 45 persons who came to listen him. Border skirmishes are too big an issue for such a `leader’. There are competent people at New Delhi who know what to do in this regard. The border skirmishes, for Rana information has always affected the people of Jammu Kashmir. This is not the first time when this has happened. Rana has expressed his concern for the first time. However, he need not waste his sympathies. His 45 votes are quite secure. He will get them come what may. |
