'BJP is now a full-fledged house of renegades, turncoats and tainted leaders' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27: Decrying the BJP State Unit for being spearheaded by a full -fledged house of renegades, defectors and tainted leaders, Young Panthers is skeptical about the credibility and capability of the Saffron party to represent the people of Jammu Pradesh. Gagan Pratap Singh, Spokesman Young Panthers reminded the media that the wounds inflicted by the 7 out of 11 BJP MLA's on the Dogras are still fresh when they had cross- voted in the favour of NC during the unscrupulous and notorious "Cash for Votes" scam during the Legislative councils elections held in 2011 despite of being given a clear mandate in 2008 elections to represent the Jammu region immediately following the Amarnath Land Row. "This obnoxious incident in the history of Jammu and Kashmir politics was bizarre which exposed the BJP's treacherous character and hung the heads of the Dogras in shame, humiliation and distress", Singh said. Gagan Pratap asserted that the masses are well aware of the integrity and credibility of the leaders joining the BJP recently after breaking the allegiance from their respective parties who would be tagged as renegades and turncoats during the Assembly elections. "BJP with a stigma of treason giving refuge to the tainted leaders under her wings would soon turn into a syndicate of betrayers and opportunists striving for power at the cost of people's aspirations",Singh lamented. Young Panthers termed BJP's 44+ seats doctrine as a mere political gimmick to deceive and distract the electorate from the core issues ahead of the Assembly elections. |
