VLW/MPWS hold protest against govt 8/28/2014 12:59:08 AM Early Times Report Kathua, Aug 27 : In favour of their long pending demands, VLW/MPWS of Rural Development Department of J&K under the banner of Rural Development Employees Association, Jammu Province, held a massive protest demonstration against the state Government at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Kathua here today. They appealed to all the employees to join a protest dharna in favour of demands at Director office on 29/08/2014 in Jammu. While leading the protest, the provincial General Secretary Pardeep Bakshi, accused the state government for being failed to address the long pending demands. The protestors demanded creation of post for Inspector in newly created blocks, promotion of Inspector as BDO, and remove the pay anomalies. During the protest protestors shouted the slogans against the state government and higher-ups of the rural development department and alleged employees of the rural development department have been cheated and even befooled with discriminating approach by the state government that resulted great resentment among the employees is developed.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
