NCP welcomes SC directions | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: NCP state president, Thakur Randhir Singh today welcomed the directions of Supreme Court of India which has put onus entirely on the Prime Minister of India to remove a minister who is charge-sheeted in criminal cases and also the state chief ministers to remove their charge-sheeted ministers. According to press release, Singh said the Supreme Court has provided an outstanding opportunity to the Prime Minister and the Chief Ministers of the states. It is also constitutional obligation that Prime Minister and Chief ministers to choose their ministers of great dignity and honesty to clean the dirt in the society, today the corruption is fashion and evil in the society. Singh a veteran leader said corruption has polluted the political atmosphere in the country and particularly in J&K he further said that a decisive campaign must be launched in the state to tackle corruption at all levels so that the benefits of liberal funding provided by the Central Govt reached to the common man. He expressed his concern that honest and dedicated persons from various sections of society are feeling disillusioned with rampart corruption and Bhai bhatijawad in the state. |
