JKL ADCSA criticizes Government for lathi charge

Jammu, Aug 28: Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (JKLADCSA) today criticized state government for lathi charging during the submit memorandum to authorities to civil secretariat here at Srinagar. According to press release, State president of clerical staff association MK Dewani lashed our state government for police action against clerical cadre employees on Aug 27. Association demands from government time to time inspite of agreement have put the employees in greater financial loss and mental depression. He further said that clerical cadre employees function like blood in the veins of government in implementing the rules and laws on deep root level if and when framed by the government. The clerical employees staged a peaceful dharna and marched towards civil secretariat at Srinagar to submit the memorandum to the authorities, but the police without any irritation, lathi charged the employees and arrested the prominent leaders of the cadre. Dewan further hailed the employees for coordination and cooperation and impressed over state government to issue orders for removal of pay anomaly of clerical cadre , enhancement of medical allowance, release of DA, regularization of casual laborers , Adhoc, Contractual/ consolidated employees. Moreover government may frame a policy for regularization of employees working from last 15-20 years on academic basis in various polytechnics and ITI's of the state. In case government fails to fulfill the demands, cadre will come on roads in near future.
